Turning Stone Resort Championship
3rd Aug 2010
I am flying out today to Turning Stone Resort for this weeks event. It has been a very tough year to date but I am not giving up and will always try and push ahead. Onwards and upwards as they say. I feel there is nothing wrong with my game, it has been a struggle to score, large numbers on certain holes have cost me momentum and cuts. Perhaps I have been too agressive at times but that has always been my game. Aggressive play and lack of confidence is never a good mix. But I still remain faithful to the game I love and of course to my family and close friends that have remained supportive of me at this time. You know who you are .... nothing ever stays the same and this rough patch will shift and no doubt I will be a better player for it. Daniel

Thanks for looking out for Sam and I.
Colonial
3rd Jun 2009
The toughest decision I had to make all year was to withdraw from Colonial. My lower back was playing up and rather than risk further injury I had to preserve my health for the long term. Knowing I had Memorial this week and also a 36 hole US Open qualifier on the 8th June, as well as the rest of the year .... gut wrenching decision but smart. But hey don't worry people, I still only use common sense occasionally!!!
I feel my game is there if I can only get my health up to typical speed I feel like I could get myself into contention. Sam, Cosmo and I are staying with great friends Randy and Sara Wilcox. Having great fun and readying for the week ahead.
Stay strong people!

Fun Break
3rd May 2009
Sam and I enjoyed our first holiday since 2004. A great few days in Tha Bahamas was exactly what we needed. I am looking forward to the Players Championship next week. Great golf course and lucky for us this year we are staying with a wonderful player and his wonderful family! Cosmo is looking forward to Jacksonville again this year!
Good to have Jeev in the field too ... our usual Tuesday tournament followed by a great dinner somewhere, no doubt!
Great to work to live not live to work.
Enjoy life!!

Congrtaulations Jerry Kelly
27th Apr 2009
To a very cool guy on tour - Jerry Kelly - congratulations on your recent win in New Orleans!
Arnold Palmer Invitational
4th Apr 2009
I thoroughly enjoyed playing Mr Palmer's event this year. I felt comfortable with my game plan and looked forward to the challenging course. Spedning a week at home the week before watching cricket meat I was chilled heading into the event. I have Kyle Kolenda on my bag at the moment and I am enjoying the enthusiasm he is bringing to my game. My final round was perhaps the bext I had played in a while - I stuck with the aggressive nature of my game and trusted it. A bit of luck here and there and who knows.
The crowds were GREAT. All week Sam and I enjoyed hanging out with Jeev and Kudrat and Sam walked with our neighbors for most of the rounds. As well as the usual suspects - Tom, Ray and Tom who constantly lend their support ever since I moved to Bay Hill. Thanks to all!!
One day I hope to win this event!
Happy Days

Tavistock Cup
19th Mar 2009
We had a fantastic time this week playing an interclub tournament in Orlando called The Tavistock Cup. The owner of Lake Nona and Isleworth, Mr Joe Lewis holds a first class event with only invited spectators to watch the two clubs go head to head.
I played solid, not spectacular but solid. Sam and I enjoyed the company of Bob and Rosa Sinott, Mr Solheim and Mary who travelled from Arizona to come watch and local friends. Isleworth gave the cup to Lake Nona this year - but not for long!!!
Sri Lankan Cricket Team
3rd Mar 2009
An absolute horrific incident on so many levels. My thoughts are with the team and their families. Pakistan has a lot to answer for. This will ruin international cricket as we know it. Sports and politics should never ever mix.
Indonesian Open
3rd Mar 2009
I played great, just couldn't hole a putt. I did have it going after 6 holes in the final round and felt I could have gone low, just didn't happen. But I am very happy with the way I have played the last few events - not the results tournament wise but content with the way I am hitting it. I know success is around the orner. Bussy has been really a positive influence for me and having Sam on the road for the past two weeks has been great. Thank you to Wyan our driver last week. Been very cool catching up with my Asian Tour buddies. I am really enjoying being back in Asia. All the best

Chinn Family!
11th Feb 2009
I have been enjoying my stay at my home away from home at Momi, Gaynor, Zack and Meimer Chinn's residence here at Pebble. Momi has been cooking up a storm and tonight Sam is cooking my favourite chicken tikka and prawn curry. Indian spices are always good for your health!
All the best
Daniel
