Turning Stone Resort Championship
3rd Aug 2010
I am flying out today to Turning Stone Resort for this weeks event. It has been a very tough year to date but I am not giving up and will always try and push ahead. Onwards and upwards as they say. I feel there is nothing wrong with my game, it has been a struggle to score, large numbers on certain holes have cost me momentum and cuts. Perhaps I have been too agressive at times but that has always been my game. Aggressive play and lack of confidence is never a good mix. But I still remain faithful to the game I love and of course to my family and close friends that have remained supportive of me at this time. You know who you are .... nothing ever stays the same and this rough patch will shift and no doubt I will be a better player for it. Daniel

What's Next ......
8th Nov 2007
Bring on Hong Kong Open, Mastercard Masters in Melbourne and New Zealand Open. I love to play all over the world, it has been a tough year that became spectacular late ... now I can't wait to get out there again. I have my mate Hodgey caddying for me, unfortunately Mitch will be working on his Cobra in the off season, so it will be fun with Sam on the ropes, Hodgey behind them and me ... well enjoying the game.
My First PGA Tour Win!
8th Nov 2007
It just feels great. My 12th win worldwide with more to come! I have spent the past two weeks dealing with press all over India, Sweden and the US and a smile still appears each time I talk about my first win.
Sam and I drove home Monday at noon from Port St Lucie and had such a great time talking about the tournament, calling family in India, Australia and Sweden. And to top it off Mr Palmer and friends at my golf club Bay Hill in Orlando had a party for me that night ..... incredible feeling walking into Bay Windows restaurant with 40 people cheering for me and Mr Arnold Palmer and his wife Kit are there toasting my success!. Ray, Tom and Regis thank you for a great night. It really meant so much to us.
Mitch Knox - My Caddy
8th Nov 2007
Even though I am half Indian and half Swedish and Mitch hails from Chatanooga TN, we seem to understand each other just fine. Mitch has had incredible success caddying for David Duval on tour and I consider myself lucky to have him back. Certainly one of the most hard working and level headed guys out there he made me look after my shots one at a time. His first week back we finished 3rd in San Antonio. I look forward to seeing him in Maui in 2008. Thanks Mitch, have a great off season. Dan ....
Thank You Olof Skipper!
8th Nov 2007
Quite some years ago I went and stayed with Olof Skipper and his wife Anna in Sweden to work on my mental approach to golf. In brief, Olof taught me the importance of diet and how with a cool mind nothing is impossible. I enjoy understanding why and how rather than - 'think this way and think that way'. His life work is something I admire and respect. I began calling Olof again 6 weeks ago, that week I finished 3rd in San Antonio. Olof my friend, thank you! Olof's website is: www.skippercoach.com

The PGA Championship, Tulsa.
7th Aug 2007
I'm about to head to the course for my first practice round at The PGA Championship 2007. The course is meant to be in awesome shape. It will be hot, hot and did I mention hot this week! I'm playing late today to avoid a hold up on the course and I'm hoping it will begin to cool too.
Sam arrives today, Cosmo is having a week off the tour and hangin' in Orlando with his crew.
Better go, Daniel

Lifes' cycles
18th Jul 2007
To miss the cut by a shot hurt last week, but it won't keep me down. Like life, golf has cycles and sometimes you have to ride it out and trust yourself and your game, it will eventually change and come good again. I guess we earn the big bucks when the going is good but when the going is tough that's when I think us pros really earn our keep.
Next week is the Canadian Open in Toronto where my caddy Steve is from - so of course we both want to play well there. I also love Canada, hopefully Sam will make it up - Cosmo will have to hang back in Orlando.
So stay in the present and live for the NOW!!
Daniel
