Turning Stone Resort Championship
3rd Aug 2010
I am flying out today to Turning Stone Resort for this weeks event. It has been a very tough year to date but I am not giving up and will always try and push ahead. Onwards and upwards as they say. I feel there is nothing wrong with my game, it has been a struggle to score, large numbers on certain holes have cost me momentum and cuts. Perhaps I have been too agressive at times but that has always been my game. Aggressive play and lack of confidence is never a good mix. But I still remain faithful to the game I love and of course to my family and close friends that have remained supportive of me at this time. You know who you are .... nothing ever stays the same and this rough patch will shift and no doubt I will be a better player for it. Daniel

10th Jul 2007
Sam, Cosmo and I arrived Sunday after a travel day that could have been scripted for a horror movie. I would like to share but don't know quite where to start! We can only laugh about it now.
I've been practising on the range these past two days working on a few different things. Tomorrow I'll be playing in the proam which will be fun.
Bye for now, Daniel
Cosmo Chopra Update ....
2nd Jul 2007
Cosmo's having a blast on tour. This week he enjoyed the company of Ms Abbey Rollins, a gorgeous year old American cocker and Buddy Lehman - a new kid on the block a four month year old maltipoo! They ran around the hotel, chased balls, wrestled and chewed on each other's ears.
Apart from his own kind, this week Cosmo met wild cats, rabbits, two possums and continues to pursure his love of pine cones.
After chilling out for the day, Cosmo will be heading to Washington for 4th July celebrations.
Peace.
Kayne Eras Proam, Las Vegas: 18th June and 19th June 2007
21st Jun 2007
Ric Kayne, my sponsor, arranged a proam in Las Vegas on Monday and Tuesday of this week - The Kayne Eras Golf Outing. We played Shadow Creek and Cascata, stayed at The Bellagio, dined at the SW Steakhouse's private room and enjoyed the incredible art at Picasso's restaurant.
Gentlemen - thank you sincerely for a great time.
Mark, I look forward to watching your movie very soon. Ric and Suzanne, thank you.
Daniel!

Sadly, we bid farwell to my best mate, Hodgey who left for Australia today. You will be missed mate - Mandy, Alex and Katie will be glad to have you home in Clifton Springs.
Cosmo will miss chewing the flesh on your ankles. All the best mate.

Missed US Open field .....
7th Jun 2007
Well, I guess you know I missed the US Open field. I did have a shot at it after the first 18 but a triple on the third hole at the seond course set me back .... two weeks off awaits and I am really looking forward to the time at home. Of course the US Open would have been great but I now need to make the most of this time to get charged up for up coming tournaments.
US Open Qualifier, 36 holes, Columbus Ohio.
4th Jun 2007
Today I will be battling 36 holes for a spot in the US Open at Oakmont. Rumour has it the course is set up extremely tough and over par is the expected score for the winner. We are still in Columbus and I have my friends Hodgey and Paul out from Australia. Hopefully the rain will hold off.

Time for a break
18th Sep 2006
A two week break is what I feel I need in order to get ready for the rest of the season. Last week I was in California doing my duties as best man at Amit Chopra's wedding my long time friend from my childhood days in Delhi, he is now married to a great girl, Sophie. I am sure that they will have a long and wonderful relationship. I will be busy watching the Ruder Cup this week and rooting for Europe to continue the great run that they have had and win another one on home soil. Following that I will head to Mississippi for the Southern Farm Bureau Classic and hopefully a succesful fall finish.
Reno Tahoe Open
28th Aug 2006
The Reno Tahoe Open is fast becoming one of my favourite tournaments on tour. This week was the closest that I have come to winning on the PGA Tour, standing in the middle of the 17th fairway I was just one stroke off the lead and I was going for the green on the par 5 hole, a birdie would have tied for the lead but after missing the green to the left I got a really hard bounce with my pitch and it ran through the back and I could not get it up and down from there. A par at the last left me in 4th place which is my best finsh this year. After being in contention this week I am left with a burning desire to get into the winners circle soon.
PGA Championship
21st Aug 2006
When I first played Medinah about a month ago, I did not see anybody shooting 18 under par around there but someone did, Tiger did! I was disapointed with my finish, a tie for 41st place. I felt that I played and putted much better than that, I just had a few bad holes ,namely 3 doble bogeys on the par 5 holes which are usually my strength. I did however enjoy the golf course and the setup was very fair. Hopefully it will not be to long before I play my next major.
