CA Championship
20th Mar 2008
Sorry I haven't touched base in a while. we have had great fun travelling and playing golf non stop this past month. I thoroughly enjoyed playing Doral again. Windy as usual, rain delays as usual ... I did have it going in the third round until I lost my ball on the 12th hole. This week I am playing in New Orleans for the Zurich Classic, week off then The Masters. My mate Hodgey arrives this week and the following week I will be able to catch up with some great friends of mine from Sweden, Richard and Jochum. Exciting times ahead and we are enjoying every minute of it!

Kel Llewellyn, CoachKel has been Daniel's coach since the age of 12. |
Samantha ChopraLoves the man before the game. She has caddied, walked, run and cheered from the sidelines. Sam has managed Daniel's career for a number of years and appreciates what it really means to hit a four iron to 5 feet in strong left to right winds with water down the left and a hazard on the right. Sam hails from Australia, but is also half Indian like Daniel. She loves yoga and believes handbags are family heirlooms. |
Cosmo Chopra, MascotThe latest addition to Team Chopra. Cosmo is a 6 month old black puggle. He enjoys waking up very early, loves to run, snores, relishes chicken jerky and shares the same birthday as Daniel (23rd December). Cosmo doesn't mind flying at all and prefers such tournaments as the Verizon Heritage, Players Championship and Colonial. His best friend on tour is Juicy Pavin, a 9 month old jack russel. |
Mitch Knox, CaddyPerhaps the hardest working caddy on the PGA Tour, Mitch Knox proves a force to be reckoned with. His qualities are a perfect marry to Dan's on course game - stoic, focused, comes prepared and always ready to map the course for his player. "From the moment Mitch came back to work for me I felt an excitement back in my game and my tournaments. I think our record in the past six events speaks volumes of our teamwork. I work my left arm, Mitch works my right, game on!" |
